One is Grandma Belle and Grandpa Will’s apartment in New Rochelle, New York (1980). The other setting is the shtetl when Hannah is transported to 1942, and becomes Chaya. Lastly, the third setting is the concentration camp that is in Poland, and the year is still 1942. In Code Name Verity, there are also two settings.
